You are welcome to Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (MGPGI), the Govt. Dental Institute of Puducherry, India. MGPGI is committed to providing quality dental care to each and every citizen coming to MGPGI. In line with our mandate, we, at MGPGI, strive hard to provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care services to our users. However, there may be some deficiencies due to extreme patient load and limited resources.

This charter seeks to provide a framework, which enables our users to know:-

Admission

B.D.S. Course: 125 Students are admitted from this year to the B.D.S. course, of which 51 are from the Union Territory of Puducherry. The admissions to these seats are made on UG NEET merit basis by the CENTAC, Pondicherry.
M.D.S. Course : 19 Students are admitted from this year to M.D.S. courses, of which 50% seats from the UT of Puducherry. The admission to these seats are made on NEET-MDS merit basis by the CENTAC, Pondicherry.
