Location:- Ground floor, Hospital Block, Behind the Staff Two Wheeler Parking, Next to the Medical OPD, easily accessible from MGPGI Entrance.
These services are available 24 hour a day, throughout the year
Anyone with urgent dental problem can seek consultation/treatment in the Emergency Clinic.
Emergency Clinic has dedicated team of Doctors, Junior Residents, Nurses, Paramedics and MTS Staff etc. to provide urgent dental services.
We endeavor to provide dental care at the earliest possible time.
However, those cases which require extensive treatment including investigations may have to wait for some time.
The treating doctors will call any specialist, who is available on call for urgent consultation as and when required
In serious cases treatment/management gets priority over paper work like Registration/Medico-Legal requirements.
All medicines and surgical items are available in Emergency Clinic which are provided free of cost.
Facilities like Wheel Chairs & patient trolleys are available.
Public telephone Unit, public utilities like toilets, waiting area, chairs etc. are available.

Admission

B.D.S. Course: 125 Students are admitted from this year to the B.D.S. course, of which 51 are from the Union Territory of Puducherry. The admissions to these seats are made on UG NEET merit basis by the CENTAC, Pondicherry.
M.D.S. Course : 19 Students are admitted from this year to M.D.S. courses, of which 50% seats from the UT of Puducherry. The admission to these seats are made on NEET-MDS merit basis by the CENTAC, Pondicherry.
