AB-PMJAY REPORT:
• Appointed as the convenor and officer- in charge for AB-PMJAY at MGPGIDS at the time of its inception here in December 2019, and have been actively involved in taking care of all activities related to PMJAY for the past 5 years till date.
• As per the notifications and instructions received through mail from NHA – National Health Authority through SHA-State Health Agency Puducherry, the NHDM-National Digital Health Mission/HFR-Health Facility Registry has been linked with AB-PMJAY via National Health Facility Registry.
• In continuation of multiple banners and posters placed at various sites frequent by the public within the hospital campus during the beginning of the program, additional banners and posters have been added as instructed by NHA.
• Further NHA/SHA had instructed to install “UNIFORM KIOSK” in all empaneled hospitals in the UT of Puducherry. This was complied with KIOSK installation was completed by July 2023.
• Attended the review meeting called for by the Secretaries for Health and Finance and Chief Secretary, Govt. of Puducherry. All the officers in charge, PMJAY of all empaneled hospitals in Puducherry along with NRHM staff and State Coordinator, SHA Puducherry attended and presented the review of the National scheme in the past 5 years in the Union Territory with a need to identify all the eligible beneficiaries throughout Puducherry.
• Further, as notified and asked for by NHA, video recordings from various beneficiaries benefitted through this scheme in this hospital were compiled and sent under the heading, “Coffee table” videos.
• The total annual claim / revenue generated for the financial year April 2023-March 2024 from the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, General Surgery and General Medicine amounted to Rs.39,07,750/-.

B.D.S. Course: 125 Students are admitted from this year to the B.D.S. course, of which 51 are from the Union Territory of Puducherry. The admissions to these seats are made on UG NEET merit basis by the CENTAC, Pondicherry.
M.D.S. Course : 19 Students are admitted from this year to M.D.S. courses, of which 50% seats from the UT of Puducherry. The admission to these seats are made on NEET-MDS merit basis by the CENTAC, Pondicherry.
